The Forging Advanced Systems and Technologies (FAST) Program is an integrated, cost-shared investment that addresses the needs of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), United States Army and forging industry. FAST builds upon the infrastructure and successes of the Procurement Readiness Optimization – Forging Advanced Systems Technologies (PRO-FAST) Program.
FAST is a consortium-based, customer-driven program to meet the needs of the stake holders which include the DLA and United States Army as federal investors and the companies and universities as industrial cost share partners. FDMC transformed both the PRO-FAST program and FDMC leadership structure to meet the new, combined needs of the forging industry, DLA, and US Army.
